Dave Pomeroy
Dave Pomeroy has been active in the hearth industry for the past twenty-nine years. He began in the manufacturing side working for Heatilator, Inc. There he held numerous positions including; customer service manager and director of training. After leaving Heatilator in 1990, Dave started Pomeroy Training and Consulting where he did independent work for businesses in the hearth industry. In 1994 Dave went to work for Copperfield Chimney as the Vice President of Sales and Service where he gained imperative knowledge of the Chimney Sweep portion of the industry. Dave became director of training for Travis Industries in 1998. He created and directed the Travis Industries training school in Seattle, Washington. Currently, Dave is self employed and runs Dave Pomeroy Signature Training. Dave Pomeroy Signature Training conducts management, sales, technical, installation and NFI Certification training. Dave is a frequent writer for various hearth industry publications and is a frequent trainer for the HPBA expo, HPBA affiliates, NCSG and state chimney guilds. Dave holds a bachelor of science degree in education and is NFI certified in gas, pellet, and wood fuels. Dave resides in Iowa with his wife, Stephanie. He has two grown daughters and three grandchildren. His hobbies include spoiling his grandchildren, magic, wood working, wood carving, canoeing and antique collecting.

Hope Stevenson
Hope Stevenson has twelve years of business and training experience. She began working for Kinney Corporation out of college as a manager for a retail store where she was responsible for weekly sales goals and the training of all new staff members. In 1998 she was employed by Vision Auto Glass. Again, she was responsible for training new hires and oversaw the customer service and dispatch departments. In 2003 Hope and her husband, Gary, began their own business, Arizona Glass Specialists. Hope hired and trained office personnel, headed up the customer service department and managed the company’s financial books. In 2005 Hope began consulting for the Muscle Car Garage. She is responsible for creating and implementing a customer service and marketing plan. Hope joined the Dave Pomeroy Signature Training team in December of 2004 and loves being a part of the hearth industry. She conducts training in health and safety, sales, service and management. Hope is a frequent writer for various hearth industry publications. She studied communications at Messiah College in Grantham, PA and continued her education at the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ. Hope is a Red Cross certified instructor in both First Aid and CPR. She is also certified by the NFI in gas. Hope lives in Chandler, AZ with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys reading, sports, and traveling.

Stephanie Pomeroy
Stephanie Pomeroy has over thirty years of teaching experience. Since graduating from Bemidji State Teachers College in 1971 she has been a substitute teacher for various school districts in both Minnesota and Iowa. In her free time, Stephanie has used her teaching skills in various volunteer positions. In 1976 she worked with the Boy Scouts of America as Director of Training for the Hawkeye Area Council. In 1981 she became the District Roundtable program planner. Stephanie was a Campfire Girls leader from 1980 to 1990 and a member of the Iowa State Honey Producers Board from 1992 to 1996. Since 1996 she has been a Sunday School teacher at Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church and has held the position of Sunday School Superintendent since 1998. Stephanie is currently president of the Women’s Mission Society and The Avenue of the Saints Woodcarvers. Stephanie received an AA Degree from Waldorf Junior College and went on to receive a bachelor of science degree in both Special Education and Social Sciences from Bemidji State Teachers College in Bemidji, MN. Stephanie is a certified Red Cross instructor in both First Aid and CPR. Stephanie resides in Iowa with her husband, Dave. She enjoys woodcarving, beekeeping, antiquing, and traveling to visit her children and grandchildren.
